The GlobalRun4Run helps raise awareness and funds for water projects for areas that are lacking clean drinking water. Safe and clean drinking water helps people live healthier, fuller, and more productive lives. For the past six years, several clubs from the Rotary District 7710 have come together to support the GlobalRun4Water. The event includes a 5k run and a 1-Mile water-carry competition. With the help of runners, walkers, water-carry teams, volunteers and sponsors, we have raised over $61,000. Each year the raised money goes to an international clean water project. In the past, we have been able to provide clean water, hygiene training, and in some cases modern sanitation facilities to villages and schools in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India, Lebanon, Peru, Tanzania, and Uganda.
